If you're a fan of "This is Us," get ready to bring your extra large box of Kleenex to theaters on September 21st. Dan Fogelman, creator of the hit NBC series, is the writer and director behind the film "Life Itself" starring Oscar Isaac, Antonio Banderas, and Olivia Wilde.

Amazon Studios released the first trailer for the drama and if you don't feel tears welling up in your eyes, we suggest you check your pulse immediately.

"Are you ever going to ask me out, Will?" Mary (Wilde) asks Isaacs character in the trailer.

"Just waiting for the right moment," he replies as she gets up to away sadly. Mary says somberly, "I'll see you around."

Will passionately tells her, "I'm waiting for the right moment because when I ask you out, there's not going to be any turning back for me. I'm not going to date anybody else for the rest of my life. I'm not going to love anybody else for the rest of my life.

I'm waiting for the right moment because when I ask you out it's going to be the most important moment of my life and I just want to make sure that I get it right."

"Life Itself" features various multigenerational relationships that intertwine throughout two continents: New York City in North America and Carmona, Spain in Europe. The film also features Spanish star Sergio Peris-Mencheta, known for his outstanding work in FX's "Snowfall."
